A garage is one of the most forgotten things to clean when it comes to spring cleaning season. There are times that you wonder why your garage door opener suddenly does not work. Or why your house suddenly becomes a home for allergens. Or why you seem to have no more storage space left in your garage to place your things.
To further remove these issues, make it a habit to have your garage be cleaned whenever there are changes in season. One should be during spring and the other during autumn.
If you do not plot down and make this a habit, think of the fact that when cleaning is overlooked, there might be problems that may arise from not just cleaning out your garage.
Take note that in a garage, there are a lot of knick-knacks and unused house items are placed. Aside from a parking space for your car, in the garage, you can see lots of things being stored and tucked away in boxes or storage bins. These things mostly not used and forgotten collect dust. So a good dose of spring cleaning love is much needed to remove all the unwanted dust that is just sitting in your garage. It is also important to check your overhead garage door. One thing to keep in mind is that it should also be checked of cracks, bumps and efficiently. Rollers should be oiled so that the garage door easily opens. And corners and hinges should be free from dust and grime build up. You can also organize, recycle, donate and throw out the unused items that are just sitting in your garage. With this, you create more storage space in your garage.
So take note people, during spring time, it is a must to have your house be prepped and cleaned. After a long cold winter season, and changes in the weather’s temperature and humidity, there might just be a handful of molds, mildew, dust mites and grime that might have been collected during the winter season. Allergens are also of time high during this change of season. So it is best to disinfect, sweep, clean and vacuum when you do your spring cleaning.
